How Eileen Wilder Made $1M In One Day

Founder of Clickfunnels Russell Brunson sat down with speaker and coach Eileen Wilder to unpack how she went from nonprofit pastor to running million-dollar days selling high-ticket offers with her online business. The core idea: once you see someone else do “a million in a day,” it breaks your mental four-minute mile and makes the result feel possible for you too.

Eileen’s journey started just four years ago at Russell’s event Funnel Hacking Live. She knew nothing about online business, but left the event convinced she could package her expertise. Back home, she recorded a rough two-minute iPhone video in her bedroom, posted it on social media, and started selling a $297 offer over the phone - her first experience getting paid purely for knowledge.

From there, she didn’t change the offer, she changed the price and her conviction. Almost every few sales calls she raised her price - $297, $600, $1,200, then $6,000 - proving that people will happily pay more if they believe you can deliver a meaningful result. The big unlock was adopting “high ticket prices” not as greed, but as a faster, more focused way to get clients outcomes and create cash flow.

The next leverage point was moving from one-to-one to one-to-many selling. Eileen began making the same high-ticket offer in small rooms, closing half the audience and generating her first six-figure day. She then reverse-engineered a million-dollar day: a $30,000 offer x 34 buyers. With the right room, offer, and message, she hit the target - multiple times.

Eileen now sells offers up to $250,000 for one-day experiences, arguing that serious clients gladly trade $250k for a realistic path to $1M+ outcomes. Her message to entrepreneurs is simple: high ticket + one-to-many is the fastest route to big numbers, and the real bottleneck is usually belief and skill development - not “the market” or cheap traffic.

Lesson: If you can think of a “transformation” you can give someone, you can charge high-ticket prices ($2k-$50k) for a course, coaching or in-person experience where you help them achieve that outcome.

No, you don’t necessarily need your own product to succeed. The most important asset in an online business is your email list. Once you have an audience on email, you can promote anything you want - including affiliate offers and sponsorships, neither of which require making your own product.

Creating your own product can be great, but it’s something that you layer on after your business is profitable, and only if it genuinely solves a problem your audience have. So if you’re worrying about that now, forget about it - focus on getting email subscribers and the rest will come after.
